In 1994, we made a full-scale entry into the field of health supplements from the beekeeping industry, and as a health food OEM maker, have responded to the diverse needs of many customers. In 2004, we made a foray into contract manufacturing of pharmaceuticals. In 2013, we launched the Ikeda Bio pharmaceutical Factory, which enables us to supply the next generation of superior bio pharmaceuticals. At present, we are working on this pharmaceuticals business to expand like our health supplement business.
Medical care, nursing care and welfare are becoming increasingly important in the modern age of a super-aging society. People's wish is to live long and healthy, and at the same time it is our desire to contribute to people's health.
In our dietary supplement business, we have a desire to provide a total of marketing, material development, planning, development, technology, manufacturing and reliable quality with original ideas. Under this desire, we are developing "API's ODM" that further refines the concept of ODM, utilizing the know-how cultivated through OEM. In the pharmaceuticals business, we have always taken on new challenges since our founding, such as by grouping UNIGEN Co., Ltd., which has unique technologies and production capabilities in the manufacture of biopharmaceutical drug substances.
