"Creating a prosperous healthy society through bees" is Api's corporate philosophy. Under this banner, our company has continued its history for more than 110 years since its establishment in 1907 (Meiji 40).
In 1994, we made a full-scale entry into the field of dietary supplements from the beekeeping industry, and as a health food OEM manufacturer, we have responded to the diverse needs of many customers. In 2004, we made a foray into contract manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, and in 2013 we launched the Ikeda Biopharmacy Factory, which enables us to supply the next generation of excellent biopharmacy. Currently, we are working to make it the second largest business after the health supplement business.
In today's world of full-scale super-aging society, medical care, long-term care, and welfare are becoming even more important. People's wish is to live long with "health", and at the same time, this wish is our desire to contribute to people's health.
In the health supplement business, we have sublimated the know-how cultivated through OEM with the desire to provide total services from marketing to material development, planning, development, technology, manufacturing and reliable quality, based on our own ideas. We are developing "API's ODM" which is a further refinement of the idea of ODM. In the pharmaceutical business, we have always repeated new "challenge" since our establishment, such as grouping UNIGEN Co., Ltd., which has unique technology and production capacity for the manufacture of APIs for biopharmacy.
There are still many hurdles to overcome, but in order to continue to be a company that can meet the expectations of our customers, we will continue to boldly take on challenges without fear of change.
