When the bees arrive, temporarily store them in a dark, well-ventilated, cool place. It can soothe agitated bees from the stress of transportation. It is recommended to open the entrance from evening to early morning. *When honeybees make a high-pitched hum and make a lot of noise in a state of excitement, there is a danger of steam killing (the death of the colony due to high temperatures). In that case, please open as soon as possible after spraying water from the mesh window with a mister.
② Preparation before opening
It is desirable to install the hive on the north or west side of the house where the bees can easily see the sunlight, and to face the doorway to the south or east. Place the hive on a flat, stable surface. Compared to placing it directly on the ground, it is less susceptible to adverse effects such as cold, heat, humidity and water. When the installation is complete, first close the top of the box and the rear window. The window is to prevent the temperature inside the box from rising too much during transportation. No need to open after installation.
If the temperature is high and the honeybees are making high-pitched wing noises, spray water on the mesh window at the entrance with a sprayer to calm them down. *About 100cc is a standard.
pollen putty Open the slide plate at the top of the box to expose the mesh window. Place the pollen putty (sold separately) in the position shown in the photo. Bees eat through a net. After placing the pollen putty, close the slide plate. If it is too bright, the bees will make a fuss. It is recommended to give it 2-3 weeks after arrival. Please give 1-2 pieces a month as a guide.
Easy mating 3000SP, 6000SP, 8000SP You can use the cardboard for packing without removing it. You can feed them, and you can open and close the skylight. The cardboard box for packaging has a lock mechanism that prevents the bees from accidentally opening during transportation. It has a locking mechanism that prevents the skylight from closing. When unlocking the skylight, pull out the cardboard folded between the mesh window and the red line. When unlocking the entrance, remove the triangular indentation on the bottom of the bee's face drawn on the cardboard from the disc. *In the photo above, the packaging has been removed for clarity.

① When you arrive

② Preparation before opening
The hive should be installed on the north or west side of the house where the bees can easily see the sunlight. Place the hive on a stable, level surface with the doorway facing south or east. Compared to placing it directly on the ground, it will be less affected by cold, heat, humidity and water. Rotate the tipping prevention stopper at the bottom of the box 90 degrees to prevent it from tipping sideways. (Refer to the photo in bottom ③) When the installation is completed, first close the window behind the box. The window is to prevent the temperature inside the box from rising too much during transportation. No need to open after installation.
If the temperature is high and the bees are making high-pitched wing noises, use the net window at the entrance. Spray it with water to calm it down. *About 100cc is a standard.
(3) Opening the entrance/exit
Hold the triangular handle and rotate it 180 degrees to hide the round mesh window. The front mesh window is hidden, and the entrance appears.
※Note ●Working from the front is dangerous because honeybees will pop out. Work diagonally from the side. ●If the disk is difficult to rotate, loosen the central screw with a screwdriver.
★ Rakuraku Mating 2000 does not need to be fed. Rakuraku Kouhai 2000 does not contain a queen. Since no new eggs are laid, unlike products containing queens, it does not require a lot of food for rearing. In addition, the bee feed for adults and larvae in the box for one month is put in the box, so if you use it within a certain period of time, you do not need to feed it again. *If it does not come out easily after installation in the house, it may be effective to put liquid sugar in a small plate and place it near the entrance as an incentive.
When do bees start flying out of their hives in the morning and return in the evening?
Bees can't see very well in the dark. Therefore, they start leaving the hive after sunrise and return to the hive before sunset.
There are many flower gardens around the house, and bees go there. What should I do now?
If you open the ventilation part of the house, put up a net of 4 mm or less to prevent honey bees from going outside. If you can't visit the flowers outside, you can visit the flowers inside the house.
How many bees or beefflies should I introduce for the size of the house or field?
A honey bee is dead near the entrance. What could be the cause?
There are several possible causes. There is no particular problem if there are several to several dozen. It is highly likely that the worker bees cleaned up the dead bees due to stress during migration and longevity. If there are heaps of corpses in the palms of your hands immediately after opening, it may have died from the heat during transportation or upon arrival. If the honeybee does not fly or if it is clearly not working properly, please contact us. If dead bees appear soon after the introduction of honeybees, the influence of pesticides is suspected. In rare cases, such symptoms may occur as a result of illness.
What should I do when using pesticides?
When using pesticides or fungicides, after the bees have returned to the hive the day before (after evening), close the entrance and let them out of the house. Check the manual of the pesticide for the number of days it affects bees, and if it is 1-2 days, keep the entrance closed and open the mesh window and leave it in a dark and cool place. After the number of days of the pesticide's influence has passed, set it up again in the house, close the mesh window, and open the doorway. If the number of days affected is 3 days or more, place it in a shaded place that is not exposed to rain and open the doorway. When entering the house again, after the bees return to the hive, close the entrance and place it in its original position.
It's been about a week since I bought it, but no bees have come out.
